Following a recent incident resulting in damage to the promenade gate keypads, the Police were called and an arrest subsequently made. A court hearing has taken place and a further hearing will be held later in January 2013 when I should have more details of the outcome.

Further to discussions with the Town Hall, a registered surveyor has visited the complex to begin to assess the work necessary and costs involved in clearly defining our common parts.

The damaged wall on the main road adjacent to number 63 will be replaced with kerbstones and the recovered volcanic rock used to repair the wall on the opposite side.

The main pipework along row 80 to 85 has now been replaced, additionally 3 metres have been moved and the supply to the properties renewed.

I notice that a small number of sun loungers appear to be “missing” and would be grateful if owners and their guests  would refrain from moving them from the pool areas, thank you.

On behalf of SARA, Diana and Albert Ridgley of 103T would like to thank all those who supported their recent Coffee Morning and raising the magnificent sum of €280.

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Picon has been spread on all the Gardens of those owners who requested it. 

The plants and shrubs are recovering well following the treatments to  eradicate the fungal disease.

We will soon be commencing our annual tree pruning programme. 

TV/Internet; Installation of cables and connectors is continuing as several are now old and need replacing.  This is a continuing process started approx 3 years ago.  Please remember any property in Debt to the Community will not have an Internet Connection.

No instances of any robberies recorded in the Incident Book other than plant thefts from a few  gardens. This was extremely upsetting for the owners when they make such an effort.

We will be replacing the damaged Sign adjacent to 4 and 5 with a metal sign.

The mens toilet by Bar Bastian Bar has been damaged and is currently closed.

The Presidents Report is due mid January and will be covering many of the issues dealt with by the Board in 2012.

The Program of Water Pipe replacement continues with the latest run being installed from 80 to 85.

 Hedley Smith kindly restored all TV signals late one Friday after a power cut created by a TV box expiring recently. 

 Diana and Albert Ridgley of 103T are hosting a Coffee Morning to raise some funds for SARA next Thursday 13th December at 11:00am. €2 each to include coffee/tea and biscuits. There are more details on the Notice Board in Reception or enquire directly.

 The AGM will be held on 16th March 2013 at the same venue time as last year.
