Op donderdag deze week, verschillende vrachtwagens arriveerden op de Promenade en gingen met Kranen een enorme generator lossen, verschillende grote containers en plaatste een feesttent op het strand. Dit ontdekte ik voor een huwelijksreceptie. Je zou je kunnen voorstellen dat dit aanzienlijke kosten met zich meebrengt. Op de dag van de receptie, Vrijdag, voordat de gasten aankomen in de Costa's, Lokale Polie en Guardia arriveerden en het evenement werd geannuleerd. Dit incident laat zien dat we de autoriteit van de Costa's niet kunnen onderschatten.

Het trottoirgebied aan onze noordgrens wordt gerepareerd en geschilderd en de werkzaamheden zijn bijna voltooid. Het hekwerk aan onze noordelijke grens wordt de komende weken gerepareerd en versterkt.

We would like to thank the owners who have remarked that the Complex is the best they have seen it. the Maintenance Team have worked hard to achieve this result.

Please speak with Luis should you require any Garden work carried out and not approach the Team. This system works better for continuity and stops any confusion.

We are currently painting areas to the rear of the Ts and Vs i.e. walls to parking area.

The current garden water is working with exceptable pressure to all areas. We have installed a water point for garden water on our domestic supply to an area that appears to suffer low pressure from garden water at times. Should this prove a problem in the future we can revert to the domestic water supply. This is also on the Ts and Vs.

Yolanda is nu op vakantie tot 3.6.2014 mocht u contact met haar willen opnemen.

We hebben besloten in de komende weken, d.w.z. Plot 222, om de lage zitplaatsen bij de receptie te verwijderen en te vervangen door standaardtafels en stoelen.

Voor eigenaren die hun IBI-betalingen via automatische incasso betalen, Ik dacht dat ik u ervan op de hoogte moest stellen dat de IBI-betalingen aan het gemeentehuis zullen worden geïnd 4 podia dit jaar en niet 3 etappes als vorig jaar.

The new water company Canal Gestian have visited the complex at our request to assess the water pressure to our garden supply. They agreed the pressure levels were unacceptable and we currently have vastly improved water pressure to the gardens.

UCCT no longer maintain the Municipal Parts outside of our complex. This has been taken over by the Autiamento.

The Maintenance Team are improving areas that need painting and tidying up to maintain the high standards on the Complex. Miguel has injured himself at Home impaling his arm on a screwdriver, just missing an artery and will be off work for a while.

Street Lighting is currently working perfectly and we have not started the next phase of cable replacement.

We have now turned off the heating to the Pools as normal for this time of year.

Water Pipes
One of the Current Mains Water Pipes is under the wall by Los Amigos. Currently running from the rear of No.12 through the wall and under the concrete area surrounding the Pool. We have decided to re run this mains supply through the gardens by 12 and 13 to eliminate any future problems.

Fibre Optic Network
I had a meeting today with a telefonica engineer who informed me they were replacing new cables near the Coronas with ordinary cables as Rats had eaten through the original cables. He assured me they were currently running fibre optic cables from Arrecife right through Costa Teguise i.e. Avinida del Mar and we will all have fibre optic by the end of the year???

We have changed electrical suppliers for our complex requirements i.e. 2 pools and street lights. This should save us enough to offset the 11% increase in electrics.

The Hacienda have accepted their error and have returned the monies to our Reserve Account.

After becoming aware of a water leak under a terrace on the North side of the complex, we have installed several new supplies to properties and fitted three new valves to segregate other areas in case of future problems. We are improving the water control of the complex by installing these valves. Our maintenance team carried out the work.

Total Man Hours……..Days on the work 20……….Average total pay 100 euro per day.

Four New Lights have been fitted. Two to the Basura Skip and car park behind Los Amigos. One to the Swimming Pool area and one to Path at 110T. The tallest lights are being replaced first as they are the most difficult to maintain.

Meeting Plot 222 was held on Monday 17.3.2014. Minutes of the meeting will be on the Reception Notice Board.

The Heat Pump of the pool adjacent to Los Amigos has again broken down. Initial electrical investigations have failed to diagnose the problem. We will continue to investigate until the problem is solved.

Palm Trees around the Pool area adjacent to Los Amigos have lifted the concrete to the area where people use the Sun Beds. Approx 15 x 7 meters to be removed and cleared away and replaced with Block Paving. The reason for Block Paving should the problem occur again means repairs should be easier and cheaper to carry out.
