Alexis the tree surgeon has now recovered from his accident and will complete pruning of the trees and removing seeds from some trees next week.

More damage caused to the gate next to the promenade. Miguel has now repaired same.

The Annual Fumigation is taking place to control the Cockroaches.

Ref opening the gate to central road on Costas advice, under the threat of Fines.

On Thursday this week, several lorries arrived on the Promenade and proceeded to unload with Cranes a huge generator, several large containers and erected a Marquee on the Beach. This I discovered was for a wedding reception. One would imagine at substantial cost. On the day of the Reception, Friday, prior to the guests arriving the Costas, Local Polie and Guardia arrived and the event was cancelled. This incident shows we cannot underestimate the authority of the Costas.

The kerbside area on our North Boundary is being repaired and painted and the work is near completion. The fence to our Northern Boundary will be repaired and strengthened during the next few weeks.

We would like to thank the owners who have remarked that the Complex is the best they have seen it. the Maintenance Team have worked hard to achieve this result.

Please speak with Luis should you require any Garden work carried out and not approach the Team. This system works better for continuity and stops any confusion.

We are currently painting areas to the rear of the Ts and Vs i.e. walls to parking area.

The current garden water is working with exceptable pressure to all areas. We have installed a water point for garden water on our domestic supply to an area that appears to suffer low pressure from garden water at times. Should this prove a problem in the future we can revert to the domestic water supply. This is also on the Ts and Vs.

Yolanda is now on holiday until 3.6.2014 should you need to contact her.

We have decided in the next few weeks i.e. Plot 222, to remove the low seating in Reception and replace with standard tables and chairs.

For those owners paying their IBI payments by Direct Debit, I thought I should make you aware that the IBI payments made to the Town Hall will be taken in 4 stages this year and not 3 stages as last year.

The new water company Canal Gestian have visited the complex at our request to assess the water pressure to our garden supply. They agreed the pressure levels were unacceptable and we currently have vastly improved water pressure to the gardens.

UCCT no longer maintain the Municipal Parts outside of our complex. This has been taken over by the Autiamento.

The Maintenance Team are improving areas that need painting and tidying up to maintain the high standards on the Complex. Miguel has injured himself at Home impaling his arm on a screwdriver, just missing an artery and will be off work for a while.

Street Lighting is currently working perfectly and we have not started the next phase of cable replacement.

We have now turned off the heating to the Pools as normal for this time of year.

Water Pipes
One of the Current Mains Water Pipes is under the wall by Los Amigos. Currently running from the rear of No.12 through the wall and under the concrete area surrounding the Pool. We have decided to re run this mains supply through the gardens by 12 and 13 to eliminate any future problems.

Fibre Optic Network
I had a meeting today with a telefonica engineer who informed me they were replacing new cables near the Coronas with ordinary cables as Rats had eaten through the original cables. He assured me they were currently running fibre optic cables from Arrecife right through Costa Teguise i.e. Avinida del Mar and we will all have fibre optic by the end of the year???

Nous avons changé de fournisseur d'électricité pour nos besoins complexes, c'est-à-dire. 2 piscines et lampadaires. Cela devrait nous permettre d'économiser suffisamment pour compenser le 11% augmentation de l'électricité.

L'Hacienda a accepté son erreur et a restitué l'argent sur notre compte de réserve..

Après avoir constaté une fuite d'eau sous une terrasse côté Nord du complexe, nous avons installé plusieurs nouvelles alimentations dans les propriétés et installé trois nouvelles vannes pour séparer les autres zones en cas de problèmes futurs. Nous améliorons le contrôle de l'eau du complexe en installant ces vannes. Notre équipe de maintenance a réalisé les travaux.

Heures de travail totales……..Jours de travail 20……….Salaire total moyen 100 euros par jour.

Quatre nouvelles lumières ont été installées. Deux à la benne à ordures et au parking derrière Los Amigos. Un vers la zone piscine et un vers le chemin à 110T. Les luminaires les plus hauts sont remplacés en premier car ils sont les plus difficiles à entretenir..

Terrain de rencontre 222 a eu lieu lundi 17.3.2014. Le procès-verbal de la réunion sera affiché sur le tableau d'affichage de la réception.

Myself and Board members will be at Los Amigos on Thursday 13th of March between 7.00 and 9.00 pm for an informal gathering, all owners on Zone D are welcome to come along and join in.

The Heat Pump of the pool adjacent to Los Amigos has again broken down. Initial electrical investigations have failed to diagnose the problem. We will continue to investigate until the problem is solved.

Palm Trees around the Pool area adjacent to Los Amigos have lifted the concrete to the area where people use the Sun Beds. Approx 15 x 7 meters to be removed and cleared away and replaced with Block Paving. The reason for Block Paving should the problem occur again means repairs should be easier and cheaper to carry out.
