Owing to problems with outsiders using the Pool by Los Amigos, we are in the process of installing Barriers at the entrances to the Pool.

The Pool is open for owners and family and can be accessed at the path by the Gardeners room.

Should any owner who is aware of outsiders using the Pool please ring the Police as it is not the responsibility of owners to confront the outsiders.

The only alternative to the current situation is for owners to make this an AGM Agenda issue and we can vote for a security guard . This will increase the Budget by approx. 30.000€ per year.

The Board have decided to implement the next phase of water bill payments. Currently only the owners on Direct Debit pay twice a year with other owners paying water bills 4 times per year.

From now on all owners will only pay twice a year with their Community Fees.

We will read the meters every three months as normal and pass the readings to Yolanda to add to owners accounts. As previously we will attempt to notify owners of any abnormal reading so they can initiate any corrective works as everything beyond the meter is the owner’s responsibility.

This will eliminate the need for water dockets 4 times per year.

Current Swimming Pool Restrictions

Communal sunbeds not to be used. ( Owners can supply their own.)

Social distancing of 1.5 Meters must be kept both in and out of the pool.

Pool side showers are not in use.

No limitation on number of people or opening hours.These restriction are in place until further notice.

Following the receipt of a number of comments, can I please remind all owners the Playa Bastian is a residential and family orientated community and whilst it’s acceptable for topless sunbathing on the sunbeds in the pool areas the same is not acceptable/encouraged for walking around or using the pool itself.
Please also ensure any persons using your property are also aware of this and all other pool area rules (eg. Reserving sun beds, use of inflatables….)

On the North/North East side of the Complex our Boundary with the Common area, we intend to replace the existing Fence and Posts. The Posts have become unstable and the Fence has been damaged by people climbing over.
Our intention is to install a Fence 2 meter high to prevent people climbing over. This work will commence shortly.
